Kursus ini merangkumi kaedah mengenal pasti dan pengelasan serangga hutan terpilih. Pelajar dapat memahami ekologi, biologi dan kepentingan serangga berkaitan dengan pokok hutan asli, hutan ladang dan hutan bandar. Penelitian kaedah diagnosis, persampelan dan pengawalan serangga perosak pokok berasaskan kepada prinsip pengurusan serangga perosak bersepadu ditekankan.

This course encompasses the identification and classification of selected forest insects. Students will understand the ecology, biology and importance of insects associated with natural forests, plantations and urban forests. Methods of diagnosing, sampling and tree insect pest control based on insect pest management principles are emphasized.
